Q: Please tell us about the backstory of the sim.
A: (E) So, essentially the story is that my character, Emma Swan, is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. As an infant they had to send her to our world in order to save their kingdom from the Evil Queen's curse.
Sadly, they couldn't come with her and so she was alone in the world, grew up in the foster system believing she was unloved.
Q : So Ms. Swan you and your fellow admins have built a roleplay sim around this popular tv show?
A: (E) We have indeed! When we started the sim, Naru and I were already friends from another RP sim but found we both had a love.
Q: may i ask.. what inspired you to create this lovely place?
A: (E) Oh... well, honestly, I had been part of several RP sims in the past, and the ones that I truly enjoyed closed.
(N) And we both kind of sweet talked our first life and second life SOs into joining us
(E) laughs. "We did. When you're playing true loves, it's rather awkward to play against someone you don't know. Captain Hook is my character's canon love, and her RL boyfriend plays Prince Charming.”
Q: You mention child friendly and family dynamics. Is that to deal with the storyline involving children in storybrooke or as a personal preference as well?
A:(E) Both actually. In the show, the story revolves heavily around my character's son, Henry, who is 10 when we first see him. And so we have kids on sim, which honestly is the way I like it.
There are thousands of places in SL where you can go for just about any perversion, whatever you like. But there are very few places you can go where you can get some good RP and storytelling that also includes child avatars.
(N) Exactly, and we aim to include the children avatars in with the major arcs we have. Because we feel they are just as important in the story as the adults.
Q: what is the Roleplay style of the sim?
A: (E) For sure para-RP. We really pride ourselves on the quality of RP that happens around here.
(N) And sometimes multi-para, because muses get chatty and that comes out during our scenes.
Q final question.. where do you see the sim heading, going both rp and build wize.. or is this more by the book so to speak?
A: (E) Not at all by the book.. we're hoping in the next few months to expand and add another sim, hopefully making it Wonderland and possibly Arendell. We're always tweaking and building here. But story wise... this spring we have a HUGE Wonderland related story beginning, so we're laying the groundwork for it. We hope to explore some of the unexplored story lines from the show, as well as expanding further into the Disney universe.
