Dear readers, I was sidetracked in my adventures to discover more about the strange lights due to a horrific attack! While out and about in my search i found a strange symbol outside a pub called Cuffs.
A very kid woman named Zoe had returned after helping a lost child back to the train station and was chatting. Next thing we knew there was a myst and the most blood curdling sounds you would ever hear. What followed next was nothing short of true terror.
We ran.. Right into Cuffs. Where we quietly listened and i was prone to asking many questions. Turns out this myst has been terrorizing the city for quite some time, claiming several victims. It seemed it was still hungry for more.
The commotion brought down the barkeep, a lovely lady named Kimbi, who began asking what was happening. We did not need to explain, the sound.. That awful sickening sound could be heard even through the walls and glass.
I must say i was highly impressed by the woman’s actions. She did not scream or run. Instead she spring into action right as a gentleman entered Cuffs. I only caught a brief look at the man before they were out the door.
What followed next, I’m sorry to say, was not a happy ending.. And for the sake of you dear readers, I will not go into the sad and horrific details but tell you this.. A long battle was fought and the poor gentleman a Mr. Sandy Trevellion, lost his life in a most horrific and tragic manner.
However, the creature was not done. During this ordeal another had run in to take shelter a Ms. Toby. She had little time to rest because shortly after Ms. Zoe had noticed something i did not and was instructing us to run.
We followed her lead to her home where in we were instructed to keep low and stay quiet. What seemed like ages later we were given the all clear.
Upon speaking to Ms. Kimbi afterwords, she informed me the myst had taken form into a dog like creature with reptilian features.
So dear readers If you make your way on the streets of New Babbage. Please be cautious, if you see a myst or hear a growl from seemingly nowhere, run for shelter.
I will have another report soon because right after.. My quest was resumed and i learned of more details on the lights.
